General Motor Workers strike over wage agreement

Workers of General Motors India of the Halol Plant in Gujarat have been on strike since March 16, 2011. According to the Company management, there has been a production loss of over 700 cars as a result of the strike. The management has warned the striking workers to return immediately to work or face termination.
