So what's new @  CGPI.org ?

We appreciate your patience while we transition from the old site to the new. Please ensure to change any Favorites / Bookmarks you have, to point to the content on this new site as URLs will have changed.

"The new site makes it easier, faster, simpler for activists to build support for key issues across regions. "

Find What You Want Faster

The new site offers easier search capabilities and classification of the articles most relevant to you. Articles are now broken down by:

  • Section: Information about CGPI such as Statements, Consultations or Publications, Campaigns, or a full breakdown of MEL categories makes it easier for you to find what you need.
  • Subject Matter: subject and keywords can be found at the bottom of each article. Related content is suggested in the sidebar. In the MEL section a comprehensive search tool exists.
  • Date: article listings are displayed in date order where valid, showing newest at top. Articles are clearly marked with what you have or have-not already read.
  • Region: city, state, country.

Stay Easily Updated

  • MEL Newsletter: you can subscribe to MEL Newsletter, which sends you an electronic copy of MEL e-mailed to your mailbox periodically.
  • Subscribe to RSS: as simple as clicking the orange RSS Feed icon;-  RSS is a standard web feed format used to publish frequently updated works— such as  news headlines. You are automatically updated with the feed using a Feed Reader or Aggregator which is built in to most web browsers these days. Feed readers can be Web based, Desktop PC based or Mobile device based.
  • Follow us on Twitter: Links to New articles and even videos are uploaded to our Twitter.

Help Share Our Content with Others

On every article you will see buttons to help share articles, make issues known, build support,  with other people.

  • e-mail: sending a link to your friends and colleagues
  • Facebook: simply click the Facebook icon, login to Facebook and a short copy of the article is automatically copied to your Facebook wall.
  • Twitter: click the Twitter button to copy the article headline to your Twitter account.
  • Orkut, MySpace, Blogger or Wordpress: other social networking mediums in the same way as above.

We are happy to share, so feel free to copy our articles to your Blogs and social networks. We ask you provide a reference back to the source article where appropriate.

Your Full Feedback is Encouraged

  • Comment: on articles,  we want to hear what you think.
  • Letters to the Editor: Easily respond to MEL articles and where possible we will quickly review and try to publish letters sent to the editorial board.
  • Forums: enter public discussion
  • Survey Polls: have your say in voting on key issues!

We appreciate any feedback offered to help improve the features and usability of this new website, making it easier, faster simpler for activists to build support for key issues across regions. Thank-you for your support.

Warm regards,

CGPI.org
