NOSHIR DADRAWALA,

Good Governance
(under the Trusts & Societies Act, Income Tax & FCRA)
and Legal Compliance Issues for NGOs

Seminar details:
Today, more than ever before, there is talk about 'governance deficit'. This is about governments and the local authorities not fulfilling the requirements of the day to day life of citizens. Non-government organisations are increasingly filling in this gap in various areas of our lives. But, to be more effective, NGOs must have a vision, a working plan and a reliable system for implementing the plan. Otherwise, they could be hampered in achieving their goals. Noshir Dadrawala will discuss guidelines for voluntary organisations in the light of his experience as chief executive of The Centre for Advancement of Philanthropy.

Speaker: Mr. Noshir Dadrawala, chief executive of The Centre for Advancement of Philanthropy.
