Under the revealing title, Israel is effectively a single-party state, Ha'aretz publishes today an article by Yitzhak Laor, the Israeli author of a book titled, The Myths of Liberal Zionism ( see : http://www.haaretz.com/print-edition/opinion/israel-is-effectively-a-single-party-state-

"And indeed, Israeli democracy is a military dictatorship of more than 43 years beyond the Green Line. In its prisons are more than 7,000 prisoners who are defined, from the perspective of the State Party, as "security prisoners" but in fact are political prisoners."
Laor goes on to state there as follows :
" Beyond minuscule differences of opinion among the (Israeli) political parties, we are in effect ruled by a single party, the State Party, with its branches: Likud-Mizrahi (Jews of Middle Eastern descent ), Likud-Russian, Likud-career officers and Labor, Likud-ultra-Orthodox and Likud in its two "authentic" embodiments: Kadima and Likud. This is the context of the loyalty laws and the open season on Balad MK Hanin Zuabi."
Yitzhak Laor is telling the truth here, of course, in the above quotations, but it is not all the truth. The full truth is that the zionist apartheid regime of Israel has been a racist and fascist regime since its inception in 1948. The 1948 racist war-Nakba was then termed "The War of Liberation" (to "liberate" Palestine from the Palestinians) until the zionist Blitzkrieg invasions of June 1967. Following that the term "Liberation" became inadequate because the zionist regime has now a new aim, namely, the consolidation and expansion of the zionist empire in the Middle East. Also the zionist propaganda machine needed to replace the "war of Liberation" name with the less controversial "War of Independence" name.
Would the Palestinian leaders withdraw their approval of the continued betrayal by Raji Sourani of myself and my children to the ongoing zionist Gestapo torture here, in Australia ?
" I protest the continuous torture of the Australian citizen Benjamin Merhav by sleep deprivation and his daughter and son by psychiatric torture in Melbourne, Australia.
This torture is perpetrated against Benjamin Merhav directly by the clandestine arm of the State of Israel (the zionist Gestapo), and indirectly by the same culprit against Benjamin's daughter and son.
I demand that the Australian government instruct ASIO to protect these Australian citizens, and stop these terrorist crimes by a foreign government on Australian soil immediately !"

"I protest your refusal to investigate Benjamin Merhav's complaint against the Australian government's approval of ASIO's violation of the rule of law in Australia, regarding the continuous torture in Melbourne of himself, his daughter and his son , all Australian citizens, by the clandestine arm of the State of Israel (the zionist Gestapo).
I demand your immediate intervention to protect these Australian citizens, to stop the perpetration of these terrorist crimes In Australia, and to end these violations of the rule of law by the Australian government in Australia."
3. to the PCHR and to all the Palestinian leaders in occupied Palestine ( email english@palestine-info.co.uk ;
